På dagens program under BETT 2008 stod blant annet en keynote av Tony Richardson, Executive Director for e-Strategy ved Becta. En engasjert Richardson fortalte om det pågående arbeidet med en ny IKT-strategi ("e-strategy") som skal være ferdig i løpet av få måneder. Strategien skal støtte opp under de overordnede mål og planer for britisk utdanningspolitikk.
